This is a 1 1/8" diameter, Nine Pointed Star of Completion Wax Seal Stamp. Makes a stunning, crisp, detailed wax seal. Also can be used equally well with ink and seal wax. When using with ink place light cloth or felt under paper for the best impression. Handle is solid pewter and stands apx 2 1/4" tall. Also always remember before sealing wax always lightly oil (olive or cooking oil) the stamp. Comes, as do all our stamps, in velvet bag with a mini booklet explaining how to wax seal with wax and ink. The nine pointed star is created by 3 equilateral triangles, each turned 40 degrees from the others and when placed together create a Tetrahedron symbolizing:
1. The Spirit of Man
2. The Spirit of Woman
3. The Spirit of Daughters
4. The Spirit of Sons
Together the 3 equilateral triangles create the All Seeing Eye of God.
4 ÷ 360 degrees = 90 degrees creating a four pointed, cross (+) star.
9 ÷ 360 degrees = 40 degrees or a nine pointed star.
The nine points of our Star represent the point that we think the people of the world have come to. We believe we are on the doorstep of the new millennium.
